67th KPMG Women's PGA Championship
Atlanta Athletic Club in Atlanta, GA

The 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship heads to Atlanta, Georgia and the Atlanta Athletic Club – the home club of Bobby Jones. 

 

This will be  the sixth major championship hosted by the AAC.  Previously, the PGA Championship was held there in 1981, 2001 and 2010, along with the 1976 U.S. Open and the 1990 U.S. Women’s Open.

Returning to its more traditional time slot in the golfing calendar, this year's edition promises to bring many intriguing stories into the forefront as Sei Young Kim looks to become the first player to repeat as champion since Inbee Park.  The 2021 ANA Champion, Patty Tavatanakit and the 2021 US Women's Open Champion, Yuka Saso, will both challenging for honours this week.

In case of ties for First Place  after 72 hole:
  • Hole by hole playoff, starting on No.18, if still tied, then the playoff moves to Hole Nos. 16, 17 and 18 until a winner emerges.

  • Five - year exemption into LPGA major championships

  • Five - year exemption for membership on LPGA Tour (if currently an LPGA Member)

  • If winner is a non-member, eligible for LPGA membership for remainder of the current season and for the following season.
